2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4

You love the hatchback. However, you want a trunk instead. No problem, Mitsubishi has that covered!Introducing the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4! It is still the fun, zippy small car you love, but with more convenience for families!

More than meets the eye

It may look different, but it is still is small enough to commute and do errands along the Wasatch Front. The G4 is also spacious enough to make it more comfortable and accommodating. As with the hatchback, the Mirage G4 is also one of most economical cars to own and run in the USA.

The story starts with a small stature. There is a short front end, providing excellent visibility for the driver. The roofline runs long to enable great headroom for all occupants - front and back. Four wide-opening doors enable excellent access into the cabin. The trunk opens wide and high to load everything in without any juggling of bags. Not to mention, its 169.5-inch length is perfect for on-street parking, or to make room for another vehicle inside your garage.

No matter which trim is chosen, the Mirage G4 offers a nice place to enjoy the ride in. It will accommodate many bodies behind the wheel, while providing clear readings from the instrument panel. This includes a TFT screen that provides the best information on your vehicle, including fuel economy. Every switch and control falls into place. Passengers will also get comfortable both front and back with large seating areas and plenty of legroom for everyone. Some models offer Bluetooth connectivity to use a smartphone hands-free, along with steering-wheel mounted controls for audio and phone use. The ES also comes with a 6.5-inch touch screen infotainment system, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. There is also up to 12.3 cubic feet of trunk space available for the weekly grocery run or a weekend away from home.

Lot's of power for a small body

Powering the Mirage is a 1.2 liter, three-cylinder fuel-injected engine. For 2017, this peppy little motor puts out 78 horsepower - just enough to get around the Wasatch Front and beyond with ease. A five-speed manual transmission is standard with an available Continuously Variable Transmission for all models. All Mirage G4 sedans are front-wheel drive.

The Mirage has one of the best fuel economy figures of any car of its kind in the USA. Equipped with the CVT, the Mirage can get up to 42 MPG on the highway, 35 MPG around town.

It is also one of the best values in the USA - starting at $13,995 for an ES sedan with the manual transmission. At the top of the range is the Se sedan.  The SE adds some luxuries, such as leather gear knob, leather rimmed steering wheel and automatic air conditioning.
