2017 Mitsubishi Outlander

There isn't a vehicle segment hotter than mid-sized crossover/SUV. There isn't a vehicle more poised to dominate that segment than our three-row SUV, the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander.

From last year's big update, the 2017 Outlander exterior sports a bold new look as the most visible of more than 100 engineering and design improvements to enhance the quality, safety and comfort for every one of the up to seven passengers. The interior sports an updated look as well, including new steering wheel, navigation and audio systems, and material throughout the cabin.  New for 2017 is the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity to our Smartphone Link Display Audio System. Now included is enhanced SiriusXM broadcasting. The parking brake is also electric for 2017, along with the addition of a heated steering wheel and a wiper de-icer for AWC models. Plus, there are some updates to the interior with better materials all around.  The 2017 Outlander offers two powertrains. The standard 2.4-liter four cylinder and CVT transmission nets up to 166 horsepower and gets an estimated 31 mpg highway. The 3.0-liter V6 provides 224 horsepower while still efficient at 27 mpg highway. Towing power? The four-cylinder has a 1,500-lb. rating; the six-cylinder 3,500.
